Launching in 2026

A celebration of the creativity of babies, young children and their families, Playground Festival will feature some of the most inspiring national and international work created for young children and their families.

About

Playground is  inspired by the Starcatchers model in Scotland, which is recognised by the Scottish government and across the national and international cultural sector as an exceptional model of innovative early years creative engagement. Playground takes place in libraries, Family Hubs and other venues across Kent.

Our ambition is to empower young children and their families through engaging, transformative and high-quality creative activities. 

Delivered by a brilliant team of artists, young children and their families can enjoy and share Baby Playground (0 to 18 months) and or Family Playground (under 5 years).
